Baltic Container engineers and manufactures offshore containers used for safe transportation of solid waste to and from offshore platforms. The containers can be used in extreme Arctic weather conditions.

Baltic Container’s offshore containers meet both international and Russian offshore safety standards:

• Designed and manufactured in accordance to RS, DNV 2.7-1, EN 12079 and IMO MSC/Circ.860 standards – the international offshore standards. Baltic Container’s offshore containers meet all necessary standard requirements such as manufacturing procedures, material requirements and maintenance rules.
• Designed, constructed and tested under the approval and supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) and DNV GL.

Baltic Container manufactures an extensive range of offshore containers for solid waste, for example:

6 cubic meters offshore skip

• Designed and manufactured to RS/ EN 12079 and IMO MSC/Circ.860 ISO1161 standards.
• Composed of a skeleton and a frame. The skeleton is welded using sheet steel and stiffening ribs.
• The frame is supplied with hinged lockable lids. An end wall opens allowing easy filling and discharge.

Due to design there is no need for climbing on units. Hinged lockable lid is designed to open under the influence of the load and its own weight when the skip is being tilted with door locking devices being unlocked. This lid can also be used for large-dimension load.

• Multiple tie-down points for safe transportation. There is a special staple on front of a frame for easy handling by car hook equipment.
• Certified lifting set complete with slings.

10 ft offshore skip equipped with solid waste tanks

• Designed and manufactured to RS / EN 12079 and IMO MSC/Circ.860 ISO1161 standards.
• Skips’ design allows loading/unloading of 4 solid waste tanks (1.1 cubic meters each). Two end walls open outside allowing to roll all solid waste tanks inside the skip.
• Door locking device to secure end walls for safe transportation.
• Inside limiter for every solid waste tank for secure and safe transportation.
• Loaded skips are stackable (2 tiers).
• Certified lifting set complete with slings.
